Prices and estimates
How do I get a price?
Design your countertop or floor online and the studio shows a range for your whole project, calculated from your own layout. Floating vanities and fireplaces are priced on request: our estimator sends your price after reviewing the design. The final price is confirmed after measuring.
Why don't you quote per square foot?
Because a rate hides what really drives the cost: the slab you choose, how many slabs your layout needs, edges, cutouts and seams. A project range from your own drawing is closer to what you will actually pay.
Is the online range my final price?
No. It is a planning range for your whole project, calculated from your layout. The final price is confirmed after measuring and templating, in a signed proposal, before anything is cut.
Why are vanities and fireplaces priced on request?
Each one is engineered for your wall and your stone, so an estimator reviews the design and sends your price within one business day.
Stone and layouts
What are the three layouts?
For every drawing the studio lays out your pieces on the real slab three ways: Best vein match, where veins flow across seams and corners; Balanced, with continuity where the eye goes first and fewer slabs; and Most economical, the tightest nesting on the fewest slabs.
Where will the seams be?
You see every seam in the layout before you choose. We keep seams away from the sink and the cooktop, and the final layout is approved by you at templating.
Do I choose the actual slab?
Yes. You choose the stone online, and before anything is cut you approve your actual slabs and where each piece comes from, at templating. Layouts always use the real slab size of the stone you chose.
Quartzite or quartz: what is the difference?
Quartzite is a natural stone, so every slab is unique and very hard. Quartz is an engineered surface with a consistent pattern. We help you weigh the look, the care and the budget for your kitchen.
Floors
How much flooring do I need to buy?
Your floor area plus an allowance for cuts and pattern matching: about 10% for straight or staggered planks, 15% for diagonal and 20% for herringbone or chevron, and 5% more for rooms under 100 sq ft. The total is rounded up to whole boxes.
Do you remove the old floor?
Yes. Carpet, vinyl, laminate, wood or tile removal is a line in your estimate, based on the floor area.
Is the installation covered?
Every flooring estimate includes a 1-year workmanship warranty.
Visits and installation
What happens at the measuring visit?
We measure your space, bring samples and show your layout on your slabs. If anything changes, your drawing and your range are updated before you decide.
Do you work in my area?
We work in Florida, from our base in Central Florida. Share your ZIP code when you book a visit and we confirm coverage for your address.
Who is Eli?
Eli is the Luxify design assistant. Talk by voice or text in English, Spanish or Portuguese: Eli sketches your countertop, lays it out on the slab and hands everything to our team. You can switch to a person on WhatsApp or by phone at any time.
Your information
What do you do with my information?
We use it to answer your request: your estimate, design and visit. We contact you only with your consent, you can reply STOP to stop texts at any time, and requests that do not become a project are deleted 24 months after the last activity.
